National Children’s Choir

The 5th & 6th Class girls took part in the Wicklow regional concert of the National Children’s Choir in Ravenswell National School on Thursday 2nd May. The girls were joined on stage by children from St. Cronan’s, Ravenswell and Curtlestown and gave a stunning performance. Their repertoire of 15 songs, performed with a live orchestra in 3 part harmony, included classical, traditional and modern pieces. Their Sound of Music medley proved particularly popular.

Great credit is due to the girls for their incredibly hard work in preparation for the concert and a special mention must be made of all the teachers who worked with them to produce such beautiful music. We also wish the 21 girls who will be representing the school at the gala concert in the National Concert Hall on Monday 27th May well.
