Christmas Colours Day

Christmas Colours Day

19th December 2013

St. Patrick’s was bubbling with excitement today as we all came into school in our Christmas Colours. The boys and girls (and teachers too!) put so much effort into their outfits. Twinkling lights and Santa hats decorated every classroom. The Student Council officers were busy at lunchtime counting the money raised and we are delighted to say that so far €830 has been collected for the Five Loaves Christmas Dinner Appeal. We’d like to thank the Parent Association for their help and support. Of course, thank you all for your generosity too!

Merry Christmas!

On the 19th December 2013 we will be having a ‘Christmas Colours Day’ in aid of Five Loaves. Five Loaves are a charity which helps homeless people in Bray, especially over Christmas.
Everyone can wear something festive such as a reindeer headband, a novelty jumper or earrings, or a Santa hat. There’s no need to buy anything- use your imagination and go wild with a bit of tinsel and a red t-shirt! Jeans, tracksuit bottoms or leggings are allowed on the day.

The Parent Association are kindly supporting our Christmas Colours Day. As usual, there will be a raffle for hampers put together by the Parent Association. We hope to collect €1 per family, with all funds going directly to the Five Loaves Christmas Dinner Appeal. There will also be a special visitor, wearing a red suit and carrying a sack full of goodies!  We look forward to a really fun day!
Happy Christmas from the Student Council!
