St. Patrick’s STEAM Challenge

Unleash your inner scientist and build a rocket and then see if you can figure out how to make it fly. All entries can be emailed to StPatricksSTEAM@gmail.com. For further details read below.

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.
St. Patrick’s is going to embark on a STEAM challenge to make our very own space rocket that can fly into the sky.

We are going to use Microsoft DreamSpace’s lesson, which can be viewed here: https://www.rte.ie/learn/2020/0505/1136615-full-steam-ahead-lesson-two/.
The lesson includes a step-by-step approach on how to make the rocket and includes an interview with NASA datanaut, Fionnghulla (Fig) O’ Reilly.
